Railway Technician Vacancy: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the much-awaited Technician Recruitment 2024, inviting applications for a total of 14,298 vacancies across various Indian Railways zones.

The RRB released the Technician Recruitment 2024 Notification on 9 March and the online applications were invited from 9 March to 8 April 2024.

The candidates were allowed to edit their application form from 3-6 June 2024. The RRB has increased the vacancies from 9144 to 14298 on 22 August 2024.

The RRB has reopened the apply online for the RRB Technician Vacancy 2024 from 2 to 16 Oct 2024. The candidates will also be able to edit their application form from 17 to 21 October 2024.

Railway Technician Vacancy Details

The RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 includes vacancies for the following categories:

• Technician Gr.-I Signal (Open Line): [1092 vacancies]
• Technician Gr. III (Open Line): [8052 vacancies]
• Technician Gr. III (Workshop & PUs): [5154 vacancies]

Railway Technician Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 10th Pass + ITI in Related Filed OR 12th with PCM from a recognized board.
• Age Limit: The age limit for RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 is 18-33 years for Technician Grade-III and 18-36 Years for Technician Grade-I. The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 1.7.2024. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
• Physical Fitness: Candidates will be required to undergo a physical fitness test.
