Focus will also be on PM Awas Yojana Urban Housing Scheme

Under the PM Awas Yojana, there will also be a focus on constructing houses in cities. It has been approved to build 1.19 crore houses in urban areas, of which 84.3 lakh have already been completed.

Currently, the construction of 1.14 crore houses is underway. The proposed amount for this initiative is INR 2 lakh crore. So far, INR 1.60 lakh crore has been released, and INR 1.50 lakh crore has been spent.
