Announcement for the recruitment of Special Police Officers (SPOs) in J&K Police in District Reasi & Doda.

Applications are invited from eligible male candidates of the Villages of militancy-affected areas of District Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, for the temporary positions of Special Police Officers (SPOs) in Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The monthly honorarium for these positions is Rs.6000/- initially, with the possibility of enhancement after the prescribed period under Govt. Order No.889 of 2019 dated 04.08.2019, as per PHQ J&K reference no. and date mentioned above.

J&K Police SPO Recruitment Age Limit

The candidate must be at least 18 years old and no more than 28 years old as of January 1, 2024 (Candidates born before 12.31.1995 and after 01.01.2006 will not be eligible).

J&K Police SPO Recruitment Educational Qualifications

The applicant must have completed their matriculation examination or its equivalent from a government-recognized Institute/Board before the deadline for submitting the application form.

Applicants must provide certified photocopies of their eligibility certificates and bring the original documents for verification when submitting the application form.
Four color photographs and a self-attested photocopy of the Aadhaar card must be attached to the application form.
Incomplete or improperly filled application forms will not be considered.
The engagement is strictly temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment.
The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the engagement without prior notice.
